Crash on game init.

Hi,


Just bought WP on Steam, and can't start it due to crash shortly after clicking steam Launch button. I've updated all drivers, disabled virus protection, have not Citrix W. and nothing works. Would you be so kind to help me with this issue?


edit:

I downgraded to 0.24 and it works, then updated back to 0.25 and nothing works anymore.

Hi Yautay welcome to Subsim sorry to hear your having trouble with Wolfpack go to your steam games list click on wolfpack then properties then click on Local Files then verify integrity of the game files if that does not fix the issue i would uninstall Wolfpack and reinstall.

Yautay, any devices plugged in, other than a normal mouse and keyboard? Joystick, gamepad, racewheel ?

Also, when launching this game, you get the "Usurpator" title but then about 45 seconds of empty dark screen, don't click on anything or switch windows during this, Wolfpack is loading and any mouse activity could cause a problem.

Try switching to the beta-beta .26G version.

Accessing the public beta branch
Step 1:
Right-click Wolfpack in your Steam library.

Step 2:
Select “Properties” in the drop-down menu.

Step 3:
Select “Betas” in the menu on the left.

Step 4:
Select “beta” in the opt-in drop-down menu.

Steam should now prompt you to update Wolfpack to download the new version, if you wish to revert to another branch, you can use the same instructions.

When you say you reinstalled your system, can you detail what you mean? Reinstalled Windows 10?

In did. I reinstalled Win11 to fresh deployment followed by Steam and other apps.
