Hi guys,
Does anyone knows where is located the Nav map pencil cross?
I would like to replace the cross by other tga…like the ship destroyed icon :D

Yes best would be to have a dedicated pencil for the destroyed ships …
But don’t know how to implement this in the menu.ini

:down::down::down::down:It is in MouseCurs file in the GUI.

Pencil.TGA file in my NYGM shows this as a cross, I suspect you are looking for this to change.

Nice idea you have.:Kaleun_Salute:

I updated my files with the ship sunk icon instead of the "X". It makes sense as I use it mostly to record sinkings anyway.

Update 2 : Does not work as expected. :hmmm:

Couldn’t be that simple unfortunately with Ubisoft :D
Maybe it’s hard coded …

I guess maybe. Tycho patch can modify the colour of the pencil mark at least and other map tools I believe. Maybe if you look further there other things might be possible. :hmmm:

Ok, easiest solution was to put the marker cross in red (via Tycho patch)
Result is same except it’s not the sinked icon… no big deal

Hi fifi, I have inspected these a bit more.

(My idea of making it separate)

Adding icon box simbol sunken ship (30 min work)
For MY DGUI Hardcore UPDATE.

DIEGO GUT's solution almost is stock design

Which means the upper right slide in beautiful variant,

Will be updated by one icon.

Commands are the prob here.
(I will find out a way to make A new command, not my first time to trick it out) mf

Its
Hardcoded

Any suggestions here, where to look.???
(Just asking fine people for fine answers..who messed around with tycho patch)

The tycho patch carries the answer...

I think you should ask Jeff for this kind of work if he wants to help you he is an expert in it... :hmmm:
