Hi Kumando

Because most of the players who contact me via the Subsim PM or my chatting group said they do not like the animated door locks in the port. They want to drive their U-boat out directly and also the animation will occupy the RAM. The 4GB RAM is not rich for such an enhanced mod.

Have been around these forums since 2016, lerking mostly. 2 days ago I decided to do a SH3 playthrough ( Steam edition ). Spent a lot of time looking , downloading , Testing mods. I can say for me this is the One All Mod. Just amazing. No CTD's , Looks , runs great. The load times might be a bit longer than most people are use to but well worth it!

:my first post here is to say tyvm to all the modders and ty for keeping sh3 going with this great Master Mod!

This looks like a great modification! However, I have a problem.
Problem is crash to desktop upon loading completion.

What I did:
-Install mod
-Set up SH3 Commander, set up career mode
-Load SH3 through SH3Cmdr
-Start career mode with same options as in Cmdr
-Set up U-Boat, crew etc.
-Start mission
(No submods enabled)

Upon starting the patrol, the red loading bar reaches it's end quickly, then... nothing. It's frozen and after waiting for 5~ minutes without interference, crashes to desktop.

For the install I simply copied the files over a clean SH3. Is this correct?

I will also add that during the installation process everything went well, however in the beginning, there is a few words about directories and saving which I don't quite understand, sorry. I also do not use JFO! mod.

Also, I'm not an expert! Any help would be greatly appericiated, I've been trying to set up SH3 for a week now, so I thank you Toyotagt86 for compiling this mod nevertheless.

I believe your issue is coping over clean install of SH3, not required to my understanding, everything include in download. Install outside of Program Files WIN location. Set SH3.exe IAW standard SH rules; admin rights, WIN7 compatibility, etc.

Can someone tell me why when I start a race in the second flotilla leaving Wilhelmshaven on August 1, 1939, shortly after leaving the port, critical repairs appear automatically that sink my uboat?
start the game through sh3 commander

Use JSGME jorca2, and under the "Tasks..." blue link in the middle gutter, use the Export activated mods list function and paste that infomation into another post. That way someone can be a bit more precise with their help to you. Also mention what the path is to your SH3 game install folder. :salute:

Hope this helps. With the new version of Toyotagt86, version 2.2, i had the same issus as you. I discovered that the mod "Navigation Map (Physical Map of Heights & Depths)", the latest version, was the cause for me anyway. Thats too bad because I liked that mod. It seems good on my other installs though. I haven't tried it on my WAC 5.2 install and probably won't. WAC already has enough going on and I have it running perfectly. Never kick a sleeping dog, ya know ?

Anvar1061 found the cause of the problems with the card. ToyotaGT86 uses the "GWX 3 Wilhemshafen,St Naz,Schluese and xtra ships" mod in its build. It is not compatible with my card.

problem solved. reinstalling everything again. I have downloaded version 2.2 and followed the instructions and so far it seems that everything is going well. When entering the game I still get version 1.6b1 I think I remember but the modifications are shown.
I have uninstalled everything in depth including folder in documents.
One question: at the start of the game on August 1, 1939, neutral ships, for example Estonian, do not attack each other, right? instructions from the high command or flags must be followed understand.

And other question: How can you comply with the prize orders that indicate, for example, to notify the merchant to stop for an inspection? the code of flags is useful in practice?

the mod looks pretty much solid, though i have noticed 2 things. the small coastal ships and the one smaller size explodes completely when they start sinking for no reason, not sure what is causing that but definitely not fire. and CTD when crew got very tired using GWX fatigue model. nevertheless very nice mod :up:

The neutral ships won't attack each other and won't attack you before you attacked them. And you can not notify the merchant to stop for an inspection. I just adjust the Renown that the game won't reduce your renown after sinking a neutral ship. that's it.

Toyota im trying to remove the reich eagles from the conning towers. I messed up with the s3d editor and i managed to remove it from all conning towers execpt models IXB (this model doesnt even shows up in the objects folder) and IXC 40 and VIIC 41. Can you please point me in the right direction?

I figured it out Toyota. Your Sh3 commander folder had turms overwriting the data folder ones.

I didn't upload the full interior mod separately. Just download the full enhanced mod on the first page, no matter MaGui or ARB version and unzip the pack. Then you can get the full interior mod in the MODS folder

Greetings! Thank you for this great work, I just started playing this mod and I love it! Have implemented German U boats compilation 2 models with some sensor fixing patches and its running smooth.
