Hello I am fully translating KSD II with Wolfpack(Campaign) mod to English language. I have already translated menu, equipment, radio messages, patrol orders, ship names. I wonder if anyone is interested in this. I want to know if its worth it to upload here. Because original authors of this amazing modpack are https://brat01.mybb.by/ forum. And it could be hard to upload it to Subsim, time will tell Would be great if interested people would leave a small comment to let me know :Kaleun_Wink:

if I understood correctly you would have translated the wolpack because I had to start doing it but in front of this impressive number of lines I do not have time for that I am not in retirement !!! .. if Wolpack is translated I am interested in seeing your work..please let me know ..:Kaleun_Salute:

Thank you for this excellent news .. a colossal work awaits you but in my opinion this mod is one of the best of all that I have tried ... because I have not less .. than 4 sh3 mods (Onealex; GwR21; Ccom12; Lsh2020) thus install 4 sh4 mods (KsD-IIWolfpack; KsD-IIAdversaire; Tmo2.5; FoRtRs1.46) is a WoS sh5 permanently installed to test different composition
besides I had RfB 2.0 which I find great .. also .. but I encountered various problems .. it would be fantastic to bring it up to date because I really like these mods without them the games are nothing. .thank you to all those people who made this possible ...:Kaleun_Cheers::Kaleun_Salute:

I am very happy that there is interest in this modpack. In my opinion this is as good or maybe better than Operation Munsoon. And I believe that this Russian wonder modpack should be translated to English so that more people could enjoy it. After all the more variety the better.

To assist you in translations with regards to patrol orders, radio reports & messages back in response to those radio reports (responses back like say, reporting a convoy, task force, etc. etc. ... I took a bit of time & translated the months from english to russian to get the info for them & am presenting that work to help out...

Encountered a small problem. For some reason when using wolfpack mod with the interface mod it messes up the UZO sight for some reason. I tried different mod order but to no avail. Tried contacting author no response. Maybe someone has a solution?
Also TYPE IXA does not have deck watch nor periscope for some reason.

Does anyone know how to edit spawn locations of submarines when spawning in port? I know how to do it in SH3 but no idea how in SH4 Because currently if you spawn in base at training flottila you are stuck in a harbor piece.

In the Flotillas.upc file in Data / UPCDataGE / UPCCampaignData folder, where you the Base info. Using Stock as the example:

Those last two lines are the Longitude and Latitude, as seen at the bottom of the Mission Editor window. I do not know as there is a limit as to how many locations you can have, but I'm sure there is... The line with "...Out..." is the Outside the Harbor location. The "easy" way to find a given location is to use Mission Editor, and open the Campaign_LOC file which is in the Data / Campaigns / Campaign folder, used for both sides... Size the window so that you can see the status gutter at the bottom, and where ever you hover the mouse pointer, you'll see the location in that bottom status gutter. Find the harbor you are after, and zoom all of the way in, checking where your mouse pointer is as you zoom in...

If you are referring to the little text messages you get, and the little icon on the NavMap, that is controlled by (as an example):

Radio contact report happen but the problem is that they do not show up on the map. (No Squares)

Ahh... that would be those little icons in the Menu folder... I would have to dig through my "documentations"... which are an absolute mess... probably lost to posterior - er, posterity :O: - perhaps someone else remembers which one(s) you need to re-enable... Most times, if you get a report, just make an "X" where they report it, and draw a rough line for direction. I will sometimes, if there is not too much going on, and I haven't gotten lazy about it, I will use the compass and draw a small circle around my mark, so it is visible at small zoom levels.

but seriously, I cannot remember for certain, whether the sensors.cfg or the sim.cfg in the Data / Cfg folder does the most... but there is a "balance" there that can be difficult to achieve. You might be able to make night surface attacks possible, but will the ships shoot at each other before 2400 yards? Will your crew shoot at airplanes before the bomb hits? That sort of thing. If you increase the AI Visual, it affects enemy as well as friendly forces... that of course, can also affect your torpedo targeting distance as well...
