The unstable weather, which often gets Atlantic like in the South pacific has long annoyed me. Main reason is it can hamper the sim until it gets boring since escorts are so terrible at hunting when the seas get more than a light chop, can get away with murder basically. Even with wave factor lowered(lower it below .04 in TMO, they can hear you miles away on silent running no way to approach lol) the weather just nerfs them, although they are better than when it was at 0.5. . I tried editing the campaign layers as the weather intervals were at 5 hours, so the sim wants to change the weather roughly every 5 hours. This seemed to help but still did not solve it.

Finally, in the patrol objectives.mis files, changed the weather intervals from 5 to 12, saw improvement, then to 24 which on last patrol, had stable decent weather, that was a patrol objective file I had changed to 24. I have not changed of l of them , yet. So , this patrol objective was one had not changed the weather interval and have had the usual bi polar almost nroth atlantic like weather. I've had to constantly hit control+n and run it out for weather to change decent.

So keeping time compression at 1556 or below (best to be lower at 1056) and with these changes, brings stability to the weather. Working on changing them all after this patrol ends, so can be included in the forthcoming (likely right after 4th of july) release of TMO update.
