In the attack map I see the enemy ships and also a floating moving time element. What exactly is this time element mean on the attack map?
Thank you for any assistance on this?

If you are on the attack map, and see a cream colored line from your sub toward the target, with an "X", and then an intersecting line, that signifies the torpedo track, and the anticipated intersection, hence the target course is slightly indicated. The "countdown" is the time to impact at the speed the torpedo is set to, if you fired it NOW. If the torpedo is enroute, it is the time left until impact. :salute:

Thank you. I do not see any cream colored line from my sub though indicating the torpedo trajectory, which I have seen in vanilla SH4. N nor any x, just the time itself. Is this normal for RFB per chance?

RFB did change the "targeting" on the Attack Map, but I do not remember exactly what they did. Perhaps someone else more familiar with it can comment. but if you are talking about a figure like "2:25" and it is counting down as you have a target locked and it is closing, or counting up as a target is moving away, or similarly if you have shot torpedoes and they are closing, that is what that is. RFB may have removed the additional targeting info as being "not real"... :salute:
