Looking for a way to make map contacts same as TMO. No Red Green or Blue markers on the map, Just black dots.

thnx

jsgme ready, just drop into your mods folder C/programs/SH4/Mods
or wherever you've installed SH4.

These are the map contacts from TMO Reloaded, I just copied and pasted them to use in FotRS U. ship contacts will be a black dot, contact update, convoys will appear as black squares. Other subs will be black circles.

Means you'll have to identify targets before you fire.

again none of this is my work, I just copied pasted a bunch of names to files.
Many thanks to the creators of TMO and FotRS.

Your welcome to these. Check em out I'm pretty sure I got all the ships in there. Questioning myself on SUBPac contacts though, Might leave that part out. if Command sends a contact then it's a pretty good bet their hostile. so reds ok.

just indaviguel ship blacked out seems more fun, up close and personal.

and no credit needed, it was just a copy past job and the closest to modding I'll probably ever get.

Was just sitting here thinking about it, that's the other big difference between the Atlantic and Pacific.
I don't think the Japanese had a lot of neutral ships in their convoys. even so I have sunk friendlies on a sonar shot in bad weather.

I’ve been hoping for something like this, good work!

Should make engaging sampans a bit more realistic now, especially outside of Japan’s home waters. Going to have to get close to make sure that I’m not accidentally shelling some hapless Chinese fishermen...

It can be frustrating, I wasted a couple hr's tracking, plotting and planning the demise of what turned out to be a couple American trawlers.

Crew was so disappointed I had to put half of em on anti depresents.
