Is Batman based on Zorro?

Yes, Batman was partially inspired by Zorro. Both characters share several similarities, such as:

Secret Identities: Batman is Bruce Wayne, a wealthy playboy, while Zorro is Don Diego de la Vega, a rich nobleman.
Dual Lives: Both characters lead double lives, with their public personas vastly different from their secret ones.
Costumes: Both Batman and Zorro wear dark, mask-like costumes to conceal their identities.
Symbols: Batman has the bat symbol, and Zorro uses a signature "Z" mark.
Skills: Both are skilled fighters and use their abilities to fight injustice.

Bob Kane, one of Batman's creators, acknowledged Zorro as an influence when creating Batman. The character's origin story, including the idea of a rich man avenging his parents' death by becoming a masked vigilante, has elements reminiscent of Zorro's tale.

Cream buns banned by the Air Force!
In the 1950s, it was popular in the British Air Force RAF to carry small marshmallow-filled and chocolate-covered cream buns.
The pilots had found that the air-filled cream balls expanded according to the height of the flights, so it was fun for them to unwrap them and observe how they expanded and caused the chocolate coating to crack.
But in 1965, a pilot had forgotten that he had the cream buns standing, so when he pulled a handle that was supposed to remove the pressure in the cabin, they exploded and hit both the window, the dashboard and the uniform. The RAF then chose to ban the cream buns in the fighters.

well..

Aluminium is the most common metal found in the Earth's crust, and the third most abundant element.

Iron is the fourth most abundant element in the crust, but makes up 34% of the Earth's mass. Although there is more aluminum in the crust, it is much lighter than iron and therefore less abundant by mass. However, in terms of surface availability or number of atoms, it is considered more abundant.

Here is the breakdown

Metal Element Percentage Aluminum 8.23% Iron 5.63% Calcium 4.15% Sodium 2.36% Magnesium 2.33% Potassium 2.09% Titanium 0.57%

The Earth is actually slowing down, which means that, on average, the length of a day increases by around 1.8 seconds per century. If you do the math, a day lasted just 21 hours if you lived on Earth 600 million years ago!

In recent years, the rate of slowing has decreased. From about 1972 to 1998, "leap seconds" were added to UTC on an almost yearly basis to compensate and keep our clocks consistent with solar time. But, the last leap second was added all the way back in 2016.

Now it seems like we might need to insert a "negative leap second" (i.e., subtract a second from UTC) or, in other words, the rate of rotation of the Earth might be speeding up. No one fully understands why.

Fast-forward to June 13, 1957. The Dallas Morning Star published the recipe for the cake, invented and submitted by a reader identified as Mrs. George Clay, according to What’s Cooking America.
