Placed these all over in TMO. Turns out they don't work but the model seems like they should. We do have light houses that work. Spotlights on ships. Anyone been able to get these to work or willing to do so? Would be huge addition, especially later war with so much of action near coast. Would added to danger for player of running too close to shore on surface at night.

Can you "see" those searchlights you have placed? When I was noodling with them in an earlier version of FotRSU, mostly as a "target" for airplanes to bomb and strafe, the lighthouses would "place" at sea level, never following the terrain, which I thought was odd, but oh well... I tried to get one on the Tateyama coast, and I either had it 20 foot in the air, or it would be below the terrain too much, and not visible. The "Height" does work for them. The "slope" of the terrain matters also. Too steep, and it won't place at all... I never did get to "see" if it worked as a light, because I could not get it to "place" properly, so I gave up on them, and used the Stock AA platform, which does not have a gun, and planes will use it just fine as a "target"...

Yes, I can see them but no light. I believe they tell enemy ships nearby am there though as I passed one close while fleeing after a night surface attack(see recent post in the current campaign thread) and had escorts I had previously lost heading my way as I passed with 900 yards of the coastal serchlight.
