Stiebler patch problem

I have a new stock install that I'm having problems with. H.sie's and Stiebler's patches are installed correctly.

I'm getting a ctd whenever a reply to a status message is sent. Single mission and campaign both.
Only a reply to a status message; a contact message reply works as it should.

It is something with the .exe patching Stiebler's patch does, as if I use a H.sie patched .exe instead the problem doesn't exist.

I've done these patches countless times and have narrowed it down to something in the .exe after applying Stiebler's patch.

Search has no answers. Any ideas ?

I think there is something with the "Change Patrol Grid mod" as I have it unchecked but there are ghosts in the machine. :o

Thanks, found the problem though; I forgot I had recently installed H.sie's "More wounded and less dead" mod.

It was the cause of the conflict. Unfortunate; I like that mod. Maybe it only works with GWX.
