Hi all,

there is something that I want out of my system and that is that I have been anticipating the long (before Xmas) announced updates on the Scapa Flow mission and the gridmap.
Since then we have only seen two minor updates that really dont attribute to the game. Nobody notices the different startup and only a few master morse code to enhance the immersion.

What we really need right now is more missions and more ships!

What we really need now is for Einar, Oscar and Neal not to be changing course too often. If they listen to every ones demands to put in extra rooms, give planes now, give more missions, add other languages, etc. etc., then we will never get a finished game in 10 years time. I fear the interruption of implementing the mission editor, and the recent morse code/radioman enhancements are a signs of drifting focus. I hope they have good reasons for it. But please Neal, keep the guys on track!

I know, sometimes an adjustment of development goals is needed. Flexibility has it's virtues. But too much and nothing gets done. And that is already the complaint of recent months. That updates don't come in quick enough. Don't give in too much to player demands.

Just to be clear, it's not my role to direct them or their assignments. We have to credit them with getting this accomplished to this point, all the work, the coding, the hours, the energy and the expertise. So while I may offer input, I readily acknowledge that Oscar and Einar call the shots.

But yes, I will bring this up in the next meeting. I understand your concerns.

It is not ment as a rant. I love this game already too much to complain. I just wanted to ventilate a bit of frustation. Of course I'll wait for the next updates..:Kaleun_Applaud::Kaleun_Salute:

No worries, I am happy as long as progress is being made. There's always more under the surface than it seems.
