Still confued- steam or ubisoft

Hi guys, so I've decided to take the plunge with SH5. I'm still confused if I'm better off buying through steam or Ubi if I want to mod with the Wolves of Steel?
Both appear to need workarounds? I'm running windows 10 if that makes a difference?

Go with Steam. Steam version is easier to mod since TWoS installer contains Steam conversion tool which will replace your sh5 executable automatically...
