Hello there,

i have trouble with editing a mod project with the Unity Engine. What i do:

1. I installed Unity Hub
2. I Installad Unity Engine 2018.2.21F1 + Windows Build Support
3. I open the Game via Launcher, create a mod in the dir: D:\uboat mods\mymod.
4. I start Unity Hub, choose the correct Engine and open my Mod in this Folder
5. Unity Engine loads something, i see a Welcome to modding window.
6. I close the Window.
7. I click on EDIT - PREFERENCES
8. NOTHING WORKS! I can't click any button, nothing. Only the main buttons in the Top border.

I have made a little video, to show the problem:

I have no idea, what i do wrong.:k_confused:

Hi,

This was happening to me also a few months back. It turned out to be caused by NVidia drivers that were being released at that time.

I'm not sure, if this is the same problem, but you may try to update drivers to see, if this will help. Latest drivers work fine on my end.

Thanks for your answer and i'm happy that i am not the only dude, who have troubles with the engine. :D.

I use Nvidea Experience and have the latest drivers installed: 441.87 from 01/06/2020. I have a GTX 1070 Ti if this will help. But i don't think, that this card is to "crappy" for this engine.

Another idea, so i think that unity will have problems with my windows version?
I use Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (Build 1809).

EDIT:

Problem solved!

I'm right, that the Problem was the Windows Version. I reinstalled another Windows 10 Edition (Windows 10 Enterprise / Build 1909) and now all buttons works fine.
