Good day to you all,

After a succesful download and install of the LSH3 supermod and after having enabled FULLVERSION with JGME, the SH3 game worked fine in its new version. But now I tried to make a mission with the SH3-Mission Editor. After validating and saving this mission I started the game but my mission didn’t show up on the list of available games.
Can someone help me out, please.

I might not be 100% correct on this, since it has been a while since I did an SH3 mission, but I remember it being the same as in SH4 where the name of the mis file has to match the name of the folder you put it in, otherwise it does not show on the Menu. In other words, you have a mission file you name "SuperMondoCool.mis", which has to be put in a "SuperMondoCool" folder inside of the SingleMissions folder, such that you have "SH3 / Data / SingleMissions / German / SuperMondoCool / SuperMondoCool.mis", or whatever your particular folder structure and language are. Don't forget to fill in the mission parameters... I do not remember how to do the Media.cfg though... :salute:

Hi Weinstube

Ensure that the Ships and Escorts have waypoints and that the ships and Uboats have the same entry time and date as the Mission start date and time else it wont run.

You could try this open up one of the LSH3 Single player Missions in the Mission Editor compare how that mission is set up Date time
of Mission same as ships and Uboats same mission name in mission Briefing and same Mission mis File name and Same Folder Name
then see whats missing from your Mission or what needs a little tweak

Please let me know how you get on i would like to help you get squared away Weinstube ive had a bit of experience writing SH3 Single/Multiplayer Missions and Campaigns

Thanks propbeanie and you too blackswan4 for your interest and helpful suggestions.

I compared my mission with with one LSH3 single mission and it turned out that indeed something was wrong with the parameters in my mission. The Briefing and Objective data were not filled in. So I put things right and now my mission is ok.
It strikes me that it takes some time before the mission really starts, four to five minutes. I like LSH3 for the harbours are so much better dan in SH5.

Have a nice Christmas!

It's been a while since I completed an SH3 mission, so I may be wrong, but I believe the naming convention for the mis file is the same as in SH4; if it doesn't, the mission won't appear in the menu. For example, if your mission file is called "SuperMondoCool.mis," it must be placed in a "SuperMondoCool" folder within the SingleMissions folder, as in "SH3 / Data / SingleMissions / German / SuperMondoCool / SuperMondoCool.mis."
