Been playing for 3 days and...

I love it. But have 2 main problems.
I'm doing the top campaign in the list, is it 1968 ? 1). When I'm dragging the sub across the ocean to get to where I'm supposed to be engaging the enemy, I often get the wrong group entirely. And I can't disengage and sail off and try to find the target I'm supposed to be attacking.
2). When I'm attacking a surface group with helicopter equipped ships, they just seem to find me and before I know it I've got missiles diving in and coming for me. The end is usually unexpected and swift. Any tips ?

Watched the ambush of the amphibious force one (in 2 parts). Loads of useful tips there. Although they aren't specifically pointed out, you have to wah and think.
1). Don't dash about. Proceed slowly and quietly
2). As soon as you've launched fish, go into evade manouveres immediately.
3). If you're launching wire guided fish against targets from the right hand side. use the right hand side tubes, and similarly from the left. otherwise you will lose the wire. I never figured that out before DOH !
After watching that, I got 2 kills on the supply ships and sunk a destroyer too ! OK I eventually got killed at the end, but that was far better than I've ever done before.
PS those KISHIN ships can outrun a torpedo ? How on earth do you kill them ? I am on the 1968 campaign.
