I know there's no sound files in the mod, but I swear the destroyer overhead prop noise is louder.
Which is a good thing; it needs to be.
I have just tried this out on NYGM. I am used to the older MaGUI.
THIS IS AMAZING.
The periscope markings, millirads are everything you read about of what little we know of what historical scope markings looked like. Wow.
It is really exceptional. As if Makman, Hitman and http://www.tvre.org got into a time machine to get this look.
https://i.imgur.com/7cGe2nM.jpg
Then there is all the Rolls Royce attention to detail Makman is famous for.
This mod also looks good with my 34" monitor.
I HIGHLY recommend this GUI.....
For some one to go to all this effort..... Many thanks MakMan !!!!

'N' key for the recognition manual if you haven't overwritten commands_en.cfg with another mod.
Magui replaces the stadimeter with a RaAOBF instead to determine range among other things (needs to be used as max zoom level)
Basic guide can be found here: https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=236013
But there are plenty of other guides (I got a pdf from somewhere on the forums years ago) that goes into detail

I think you need to estimate it using the markings on the UZO combined with the mast height of the target. There is a tutorial below which explains the method. I'm not sure if .22 is the correct value for MaGui (have not had a chance to try it yet).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpSPKsd25yM
It looks like the stopwatch cannot be started/stopped on the map screen - is that intentional? I couldn't find a keyboard mapping to start it.

Open follow the path:WAC MaGui for GWXv3 - 1366x768\data\Menu to open the en_menu.txt or de_menu.txt For me I use the English Language,so just change the en_menu.txt is enough
and change the 754=St.Nazaire to 754=St. Nazaire,(add a space between the St.and the Nazaire) then you will fix this bug

Great mod - love the look of it. However, any ideas on how this would work trying to scale up to 1920 x 1080?
My monitor support 1920 x 1080 native, but in using this mod, I can't get it to fill the whole screen (I'm connected via DVI cable not HDMI cable) and using an older AMD Radeon HD 6670. AMD Catalyst allows me to enable GPU up-scaling, but even then it doesn't completely fill the screen and I had to select "maintain aspect ratio" to avoid ovals instead of circles.
Is there a way to upscale this (I tried changing the scale in d3d9.ini but all it appears to do is offset the load screens and several other views in-game.)

Great mod, couple of things I wish were different.
1. I've never cared for the OLC method of accessing the depth, speed, and course controls. Click on the button to bring them up, click on the gauge(s) you want to use, click on the button to close the panel. To much to do when action is fast and furious.
I edited the menu.ini etc. to make these like FLB Sale's mod; big dials that slide out instead.
2. The white bearing marker in the binoculars is unreadable during the day. Haven't figured out how to change that, but haven't spent much time trying either.

Anyone able to get the 1366 version to work with GWX ? I try it and I get the old "off the coast of Africa" problem when I start at St. Nazaire.
Noticed in the mods flotilla.cfg file that St. Nazaire was on a different text line than stock GWX but still have the problem after the change.
Looking through the mod I can't see anything else to cause it. Also tried Toyotagt86's tip. Ideas ?
On a stock GWX install, only mods are the 16k env.

I just installed the mod, and it looks and runs well. Though I do a question, how do you access the secondary modes/menus for the rudder, speed, and depth meter? (i.e going from the 25 meter depth meter to the 200 meter depth meter, going from the regular speed interface to the one where you can set a specific knot speed, and going from the compass helm interface to the rudder degree interface).

I don't think there is, unless makman94 decide to make 1920x1080 version of this. There plenty of good GUI for full HD resolution though.
Anyway, just adding back the stadimeter. :haha:

Hi All !
2023 .
Discovered SH3 so many years ago ...
But it was only a few years since I came , slowly but seriously, into SH3 modding .
And , this week , I discovered MaGui-F :
I must say that this is the mod that influenced my gamestyle the most : this Gui is so beautiful that I immediately felt the need to go total hardcore , erase all the markers and truly navigate with the speeds/distance charts and the chronometer , even the sextant ... Because it's what such a mod deserves .
NYGM looks amazing and it's my next "ziel" :arrgh!: , GWX is great , but the MaGuI is the Jewel(along with H Sie probably) .
THANK YOU Manos for your work !!!
PS: The funny thing is that I know another famous modder named Manos , who is doing wonderful mods in the Falcon BMS community and endorsed as he deserves . A good man too , which is not the worst things .
