Window's 10 help.

Could someone point me in the right direction. I need help on how to install and run SH3 on win10. I am a neanderthal and I just got a new rig with win 10 on it. My old rig had win7. And I know that there are things that you have to be aware of with win10 concerning SH3. Any link to the right thread would be appreciated.

SH3 is not compatible with Windows 10.

I have SH3 1.4b in Windows 10 LTSC 2019 and it works flawlessly.
My copy is DRM free and I didn´t set any compatibility mode to make it work.
SH3 is a portable game (at least without DRM) and you can have as many copies as you want. Copy-paste from USB to computer, from hard disk to SSD, etc.
That´s all I can say.
Problems may arise if you want to make antialiasing work on newest operating systems and/or latest graphic drivers (in my case GTX 1060).
Anyone knows how to solve this?

I should have explained better.

SH3 will only run on Windows 10 in one of the compatibility modes such as Windows7.
Without a compatibility mode the game will usually ctd before reaching the Command Room.
The SH3.exe should also be run as an administrator as the game can ctd before reaching the main menu.
It is essential that gpu is correctly setup as an error "Cannot initialize 3Dengine" can occur.
