Does anyone know, colored insignias or not

Does anyone know if they actually used colorized insignias on u-boats?
I would think that sharp colors maybe would be easier to spot in surtain light conditions, reflections and so on.

Does anyone know any facts around this?

I am considering to just use B&W insignias.
In the game the colored insignias has a tendency to look to bright/sharp. It is the lighting system that does this.
I tried to lower brightness and contrast on the insignias itself, while it helps abit it still might look abit "stand out" in the game.

I am preparing 4 insignia mods for release when B119 goes live so i would like to have the textures ready :)
What do you guys think?

You mean with the insignias the U-boot emblems right?

I have all the U-boot im focus magazines....and you have coloured
emblems…..but the colours are not very bright.

I can scan a couple of emblems for you...if you like.

Thanks. No need. What i wanted to know was if they actually used colored insignias on the tower. I found out that some did.

I have some in b&w and some in color.
