Black screen with noise

Anyone else getting this? black screen with noise during game play? Im trying to verify the files right now on steam. Ive updated my drivers. We will see. Let me know if you have a solution please!

happened to me during docking. it appears that the crewman somehow went overboard. the black you are seeing is the blackness of deep ocean, and the sound of it.

never figured out how to get him "saved" so i had to reload the game.

No my monitor is blank!

I updated my GPU, Windows, it happens at random times. If I am on bino or UZO, and I use keyboard to move them it appears to happen more often.

My monitor is 166 hz. I notice this game supports it. But is currently at 60 hz.
Is that an issue?

AMD GPU by chance? Been having this issue too, and I've had it with a game or two in the past, and it's always been down to some sort of memory issue specific to interactions between Unity and AMD.

Do your GPU fans spin up massively when the black screen occurs? Do you have to force a restart with the power button?

I lowered my refresh rate and that seems to work. Thanks guys!
