My first MP

My first MP, a swedish lady called Emma who really knows her stuff and her husband Dieter. Unfortunately we were rammed by another U-Boat and hydrophone was damaged so could not find the convoy. Ended up having to quit that one but she taught me a few things, gain being used to estimate range for one.

Second game was with another experienced Devon/Somerset captain but just as we were closing and about to fire a 3rd player appeared, fired off one of our torps, surfaced us, started playing radio and alarm bell.

Anyway - very enjoyable. Couldn't chat on discord for some reason, my microphone is always muted - but it definitely works, i was skyping earlier on?

Always muted microphone might be due to Windows privacy settings, where 3rd party apps are not allowed to use it. It was how I shot myself in the foot with it.

yes, that was it - i remember now minimising/closing some windows notification earlier on when no-one in the first MP game was using discord. thanks
