We need an engine room and torpedo rooms so we can actually go along the whole sub and have a bunch of friends control the submarine. and maybe even have multiple subs working together.

Must say, it is far more fun to watch a crew actually trying to do it right. Most content creators seem to just be fooling around. Such a relief to know there are guys actually playing the game how it was intended. Well done.

Sadly, that's true. I'm searching for videos all the time trying to find the ones that actually care about inmersion and good use/practices of the sub tools & procedures.

This was the better so far!

You get a glimpse of how the crew has to really work together to keep the U-boat operational, hunting down a convoy, and attempting to get out of the battle in one piece.

It reminds me of a hardcore sim version of Ubisoft’s Star Trek: Bridge Crew.

The game is still far out from release, but they do have plans on implementing bots to replace absent players during missions so that you can play the single-player campaign offline, as well as in-game VOIP, additional enemy aircraft, escorts with radar, escorts with hedgehogs/squids, better radar equipment for the U-boat, active sonar equipment, and dedicated server support.

It was our second mission, so our three-man crew was a little nervous. Even though my two gaming buddies and I cracked jokes about our rather limited adventures at sea we knew that we were playing a game that was deadly serious. We were tasked with seeking out and destroying any British supply convoys that we came across in the frigid waters of the North Sea.

Wolfpack is not an easy game. It sure managed to flummox my two gaming buddies and I when we initially tried it out. This is not a submarine simulator where many of the complex calculations and controls are streamlined for you. No, this is a full-on simulator which forces you to come to grips with your chosen U-boats many machinations all by yourselves.
