Sub choice?

The question is good for all SH4 mega mod...

Is there any way to let us the sub choice when we get an upgrade proposal ?

I wanted the Purpoise class after my S class, but they gave me a Salmon...that’s nice, but we can’t folllow the class order? (S - Purpoise - Salmon - Sargo etc)

No mod for that?

mon ami, in my experience, no.
you get what SH4 assigns you.
some background for you: there is a hierarchy of sub models, 1 through n, where 1 is the earliest model and n is the most advanced. for the US side, S-18 would be 1 and Tench, when available, is the highest.

depending on the model you are driving and the amount of renown you have and your average mission success value, you may be offered command of a boat that has a higher model than the one you are driving.
however, unlike real life, there is no way to pre-determine which boat you will upgrade to. (bad english)

Stock game has 0-3 levels & some mods do 0-4. In FotRSU, we tried 0-10. We thought like you, Fifi, that it would sensibly and logically step through the UpgradeClass numbers. There are times you cannot think sensibly & logically with this game. I think though that we did prove that "Renown" is King. The more points you have, the higher the boat level, whether you're in an Sboat or a Gato... :salute:
