GWX crash to desktop - unable to play!

Hello all,


I've just installed GWX -- nothing else! -- and whenever I try to start a new career, the game crashes to desktop after completing about 95% of the loading screen.



Anyone know what to do?

Sometimes the sh3's files (the ones that are outside the 'data' folder) corrupts for no reason. If you have a clean backup of the sh3,then copy and paste all these files into your gwx setup.
If this doesn't work then delete everything and reinstall the sh3 from the begining

What is your OS? And where did you install the game files?

Don't forget the 4GB patch. I forgot it once when reinstalling the game with GWX and it would crash almost instantly when loading a game.

Hi PBD
Essential to run Windows 10 in compatibility mode for Windows 7.
GWX application and the SH3.exe should be run as administrators.
