Hi, first off sorry if I posted in wrong location. I downloaded a few playable mods Russian Subs and Bismarck to be specific. I am on newest version and not using steam. But I am using wolves of pacific. I put the game folder under downloads and then the mod folder is right below SH4 data folder. I then activate one mod at a time in jsgme and then launch the game. Once at both career menus the ships down show up. So I am not sure what i did wrong. I did try to put it under c: drive and then program folders but only the Sierra class mod worked 😒. These are some that I’ve tried

They look great thou, can’t wait to try and build my own being a programmer. Thanks again

This should be the filepath for your JSGME mods folder (I have the steam version here) D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Silent Hunters Wolves of the Pacific\MODS

Also sometimes you can get a double folder, such as D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Silent Hunters Wolves of the Pacific\MODS\SS 417 Tench\SS 417 Tench\Data when what it should look like is D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Silent Hunters Wolves of the Pacific\MODS\SS 417 Tench\Data

HI ETR3(SS), Thanks for your fast reply. I triple checked my file path and there still not showing up. I also uninstalled/reinstalled the game a few time. I guess maybe I should get the steam version instead of the one I purchased.

You should be fine with the version you have cebergquist, other than to double-check what you mean by "latest version"? Are you referring to maybe that you have a disk version, and you've applied the v1.4 Patch from Ubisoft to it? Or, are you referring to that you either bought the Uboat Missions Add-On and applied that, or you have the full "Gold Edition - Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific" version? Post back with that info.

Now, the folder structure... "D:" is for drive, whatever yours is, whether C: or D: or E: or whatever. It sounds like you have a "Downloads" folder there, or maybe in your User / My Documents folder, but either way, whether "D:\Downloads..." or "D:\Users \Your Name\ Downloads...", you should have a "Silent Hunter 4" folder of some form, since some files will reside outside the other folders, so you would really want "D:\Downloads \Silent Hunter\MODS...", and your mods in that MODS folder. The game's "Data" folder is on the same level as the "MODS" folder, as well as "Resources" and / or "Support" and the like. Notice that ETR3(SS) has the same basic "path" below his "... steamapps / common" path? Post back with the path to where your mods are, please. :salute:

As Aktungbby says: "Welcome to SubSim!" :subsim:

you may want to do what i do when handling mod ships and subs,
Only attempt to use one at a time. Mod ships and subs tend to over write a lot of things and aren't generally compatible with each other.

One at a time and you might be able to find the sub you want in the list of available ships.
I install a ship, say the Kent class, or Skipjack, and play for a while then pull it out to play a regular boat or another mod.
Make sure that the mod boat you install is last in the order.
