Anyone noticed that there is a delay in the crew announcing the max speed? For example, I go to flank speed, don't quite get to max speed and then drop back to say 5kts, shortly after the crew says making tuns for 42kts (Virginia Improved).
Not a problem for the game, just has me checking twice. Spooks you when you are in the middle of a time when you are trying to hide.

I had this problem sometimes... Delay too long and the announcement is too irrelevent because it took a long time. Also sounds were missing. Are you using steam version?

To fix sometimes sound problems i had to reverify the files in steam. That worked for me.

Yes, using steam version.
However, since the 1.09 beta version has come out, problem does not exist as far as I have experienced at this stage...
