Difficulty setting

can't seem to change it and when I try the slider bar freaks out and slides all the way to the left same thing with the other slides what am I doing wrong.:hmmm:

Are you in the 3D part of the sim when you Esc and change the diff, or the main menu? Have you tried restarting Windows in case you have a driver in a bad state?

yeah I tried a few different settings and ways.Can you set different difficulty settings?

I have no problems changing diff setting or any of the other sliders.
Using Win7X64 and default no-mods 1.08c

I didn't see you confirm you rebooted Windows.

yeah I rebooted ver 108c and windows 7 64. using Ui mod.I'll give it another try.
Ok tried it again no go all sliders sled all the way to the left however when I reboot up game they reset to one click/slide to the right definitely weird guess ill uninstall and try that.

Doesn't look like a game bug or you would not be the only one. Suspect your UI mod is corrupted or another file corrupted.

Did you try to go to Steam under your game file and in properties check the game files integrity?

I'm gonna reinstall it and see what happens.......well that did not work.

ALL sliders are porked now can't play this game on super easy.
uninstalled five times now cleaned registry etc...and nothing.

1) I had to update my geforce graphics drivers to stop the game from crashing once 108 came out. I think specifically version C.

2) I don't know if you said you were modding or not, but I found just having a missing torpedo type in the weapons.txt file was enough to cause UI issues like text overtop of other text, buttons not working, etc. Something I wouldn't think was related was somehow...
