Question about XP points earned by the crew in Traveller v2.6 TMO

Hello everyone,

I have a feeling that the submarine's crew in the Traveller v2.6 TMO mod earn XP points slower that in the TMO 2.5 mod.

Am i right or not?

I am not able to find this info in the mod's readme.

I compared the UPC.cfg file from the TMO 2.5 and Traveller v2.6 TMO.
I found some differences:

- Traveller v2.6 TMO: RenownValuesUS=-401,-100,100,350,1300,2000

- TMO 2.5: RenownValuesUS=-200,-100,100,350,1300,2000

However when i compared the Ranks.upc file of both mods the amount of XP points needed for the submarine's crew to be promoted is the same.

Maybe there are some other files that i need to compare to get my answer?

Thanks to Fitzcarraldo i got answer to my question. :up:

Indeed, in the Traveller v2.6 TMO mod the submarine's crew earned XP points slower than in TMO 2.5 - just as i thought.

Meantime i will disable Traveller v2.6 TMO and return to my previous mod list which worked perfectly throughout many career patrols.

The Traveller v2.6 TMO mod has many great features, but unfortunately is quite unstable and incompatible with other mods that i like (i.e. OTC 1.5).

I will try to implement some Traveller v2.6 TMO mod features into TMO 2.5 and RSRDC campaign.
