Hello
Actually I have two concerns. The first is about weither, I play usually sessions of about 6 to 8 hours in a row, and the weither almost never change durinf this time. I now it shouldn't switch from clear sky calm wind to tempest, but...
Yesterday I made a savegame as I was in medium fog without wind. I loaded few hours later this savegame and I was surprised to see the weither changed to light fog and windy. I think there is an issue somewhere. Can someone confirm the same feelings please?

Second, I saved the game as I was in shallow waters, actually in Scapa Flow, at periscope depth near the two motionless destroyers. I had to load this savegame due to an irl problem. Each time I load the savegame and any other with my sub at periscope depth (I tried later on many others) my sub is spawning 2 or 3 meters above periscope depth... so the destroyers spot me and shoot me...
Any savegame you load while at periscope depth make you spawn at around 8 meters... very annoying :-/

I know I shouldn't save near units, particulary ennemy units but I had no choice. Anyone knows this issue?

Thanks for your tips

Yes, random weather change upon gamesave load are normal (although annoying) in SH5 (cant remember about SH3 and 4 weather changes though). I noticed that ingame weather changes during the "winter" months are more rare than during the "summer" months (3-4 days vs 8-24h). It seems that this is hard codded into the game and that it can not be modded. If the weather is stuck after 4-5 days of sim time, than you should try to save and reload your game...

Although the gamesaves near active units on periscope depth are not recommended in any SH game, I found that in SH5 99% of these gameseves will work just fine for me. However, that one percent still remains...

Thanks for the reply.
The weather didn't change really when I play but this is normal behavior I think, I play around 6 to 8 real time hours for usually 2 days of ingame time so I don't expect major changes in the weather. But weither changing each time I reload a savegame is... but as you said this is probably hard coded :-/

I never had issues with gamesave, and this little bug is not really annoying in most cases, we just need to know that saving at periscope depth (11meters) won't spawn you at this exact depth next time you load the game, and in my case this was annoying as 2 destroyers were 500m from me. Those 2 meters error made my upper part of the sub to be above the sea and they just killed me with main gun shots lol
