I'm considering working on mods for the gui.
I know stealth varies whether your surfaced or decks awash.
I would like to know how the periscope detection works and what files hold it. I have a few ideas and how to test it, but it would save me a lot of time finding it out.
My idea is to make the observer periscope easier to detect in daylight. This would then make using the periscopes more realistic. It opens up a wealth of new ideas to be added to use the 2 periscopes. Attack periscope less useful than observer at night. I've already got the Salvo/single selector switch nearly working in periscope, uzo view. I'm looking at torpedo door opening in both modes as well. Unfortunately, I'm very busy in real life and find it hard to put time into the project, so help would be appreciated.
