sound card for dw/sh4?

so in all my 20+ years of gaming and simming I never once took it to work with a dedicated offboard sound card. will it make a difference?

You mean like a dedicated hardware sound card? No, it shouldn't. Modern onboard sound technology is good for gaming. I would say a good pair of headphones is what you should invest in.

Thanks Chazly. I just had to check in case my onboard hardware was not delivering or others were using or had pci sound cards.

Chazly makes a good point about headphones (although I just crank my stereo speakers), but don't forget to also invest in delicious beverage. When watching his videos I am sometimes distracted by wondering if that's beer or what? He makes it look as essential as the headphones themselves.:Kaleun_Cheers:
