I loved from NYGM the idea that a merchant or any ship can sink due to floodings (you don't need to reduce their hp to zero). Is there any mod that do this effect for vanilla SH3? I cannot find any.

I'm working on such a mod. The working process of flooding is a bit hard to understand, but I think I've understood it quite well after many many hours of tests. Now, I get very good results (far better than in NYGM !).
I've changed all zones' values, and added a few new zones :

But the work needs more tests, and I'm too busy in RL now. Moreover, the own ship's .zon files need adaptation.
One day, I may release a complete "supermod".

If you want I can test it for you :ping: I also can wait, it's no problem - I'm not sure if it will be compatible with the mod list I'm finetuning since one month ago for light loading times / low PC specs.

Yes, it doesn't work here either. I was looking for here (assuming TDW was The Dark Wolf):

So, this mod is rather sinking by fire than sinking by flooding ! :lol:

Pretty sure it had flooding too.
Though to be honest why anybody would play stock is beyond me because the megamods patch bugs that patch 1.4 didn't. and damage from flooding is a feature in just about every megamod.

I have to test it.
The reason about do not play megamods is that all megamod crash on my PC as soon as I load or start any game (6Gb RAM) and since I do not have a SSD Disk, all are pretty slow to load due to the big amount of skins and new ships.
NYGM is the only one that do not crash, however it's still slow to load, and I want to play it in 1920 with Attack Disk - so I need Ahnenerbe, and other mods that doesn't seems to work with it. At the moment this is a temporary list of mods I'd like to play (maybe I replace MEP with OLCE), and Stiebler patch + ThomsenParamApp, once I complete the list:

Get rid of mod TheDarkWraith_DC_Water_Disturbance_v1_0_SH3 immediately.
It is well known to cause CTDs with SH3, including with all the super-mods.
It would be a good idea to test initially whatever super-mod system you use, without any further mods added, to see whether that causes CTDs. Then try adding the other mods that you have listed, a few at a time, to see whether they cause CTDs.

Don't know if it is still an issue, but TDW's DC Water Disturbamces mod has been reported to cause CTDs when reloading saves. I personally had this problem with both GWX and NYGM a couple of years ago, and traced it to TDW's mod in my game environment. I am reluctant to criticize any mod by TDW, because he does so much excellent work and certainly isn't prone to releasing mods with problems. And CTD on reload can be a difficult problem to isolate. But a number of people have claimed to have problems with this particular mod, with various supermods and in both normal and SH3C versions. I recommend some careful testing before you risk using it in a career you care about. YMMV.
