Windows 8 - still got the display bug with the wrapper

Greetings all. I have windows 7 and have followed all the steps to get rid of the dreaded display "bug."

-Fresh copy of DW (Steam edition)
-Fresh copy of RA
-ini file located and tried all 3 modes.
-using the driver with RA and tried the driver found here in the forums

I get flashing menu items and no means by which to enter quick action or select a platform.

I get the cool audio and the Typhoon animation no problem.

I've tried disconnecting my other two monitors and reducing resolution on my single screen to match DW's low resolution.... no go.

I tried compatibility mode for windows XP service pack 3.... no go.

HELP!

try getting the latest copy of the wrapper (version 0.02) from here. you may have to right click on it and 'unblock' the .dll in the properties menu.

unless there is something im missing im struggling to reccommend a better fix for you dude.

I would of cour defer to others within the community who have had similar issues and how they got them fixed.
