View Full Version : Recruiting a crew for Friday June 3

With my crazy schedule, it's impossible for me to be certain when I will be working and when I will have time off, but I am thinking my job tomorrow will wrap up around 12 noon Texas time, and when I return I will post here and then hang out in Subsim Teamspeak (Chatroom in the link bar above).

I am planning to take this boat out and give them pesky Germans the what for. I need a crew, though, I cannot run this sub by my lonesome.

Wanted:


Navigator, has to know his bearings, be quick on the TDC when I feed him data, and be ready to assist with plotting and soundings.

Chief, should be familiar with his machinery, can get the boat to periscope depth without broaching, watch the battery levels, and answer bells promptly.

Radioman, needs to be sharp and get those intercepts decoded ande translated into Texan so I know what the enemy is saying, as well as monitor the hydrophones. Practice saying, "Splashes!" in an urgent whisper and pray you never have to say it at all.


I will post here tomorrow when/if I get free.

Well i am very new to the game but i would love to join, i could imagine that i would be best in the engine room but i dont know.
So if you could have the pathience to play with a new player like me, then i am ready :)

After playing solo abit i it seems i am pretty good at the engine room and i am not bad as a radio operator either so whatever you need i am ready.
Also i am on the teamspeak atm :)

I see you there. Looks like I will be here at the customer for 3 hours, then back to the yard, so my noon game time will be more like 14:00.

and I did check my McAfee firewall settings and HMSMarulken144exe is listed....

next step?

Not available today, but I am available most of Saturday EST time. I'm fine with either manning the engines or the communications. I practiced some yesterday and learned fine depth control.

I'm new to HMS Marulken (and sub sims in general) but I've been doing some practice with the radio room so I'm available if you need someone for that.
