View Full Version : tecnical question about campaing and flotilla files

i have some doubts about 2 mods of gwx and posible CTD.
the alternative flotilla wich replaces 11th the 3th. if you are playing in 1 st flotilla for example, end a patrol. Close SH3 and SH3comm, enable the mod: this should cause a CTD if im still runnning in 1st flotilla?
similar about end a patrol and remplace the campaing files for the only east us coast (playing in a flotilla wich works in those grids), should generate a ctd, always speaking about been dock in base?
as far i read i bealive that not, but real world allways crashes ;P

Do you have any mods enabled other than GWX?

in my instalation yes, so i dont do it, becose the stnazarre... harbours are not compatible for restricted campaing. So my question is in general and over sh3+gwx only.
its more related about dump info in saved game that could make crash.
i think i tested enable alt flotilla in middle of a campaing without crashings a time ago. but i ask to be sure. and now i play heavy modded to check it so easy.

I had no problem when I:
Installed GWX over SH3 V1.4 with no other mods
exited a patrol in port as a member of 1st flotilla in 1943
enabled the GWX Alternative Flotillas mod in JSGME
Restarted in port as a member of 1st Flotilla
