MegaMod Recommendations

Hello, love this game, and cant get enough.
I want to do one of the megamods..BUT must I use completely realistic targeting computers with them? Also, can anyone recommend what complete MOD they feel is the nicest? I really want to install one..I just dont have the eyes to read through 100 pages plus of threads to find ALL the ins and outs of the mods..so..I really need help (cornea transplants)...Im basically looking for an ALL in one mod that will let me choose IF I want to use the totally realistic TDC computer or not...but still give me all the good eye candy and realism..thanks a lot!

p.s. I'd like to have option NOT to use everything..high full realism..is there an all in one mod where this is possible?

I would recommend that you try the mega mod The Wolves Of Steel.

You can add the Wind and Smoke mod to simplify your game.
You can also add this mod.
Map Contact Colors (Red-Blue-Green) Mod Replaces The Grey Color Ones Used In Mega Mods > Enable JSGME (http://www.mediafire.com/download/36oca6ws9ag82xg/Map_Contact_Color%27s.zip)

The mega mod is easy to install including a video.
Your career realism setting can be selected for the level of difficulty you want to play at.
You can customize this further by using the game play settings from Options on the main menu.
These settings can be changed any time you are in the bunker when you make a save before the next mission.
Using TDW's Options File Editor Viewer you can further customize your game play as an example seen in the picture below.

The other option you could try is this mega mod.

As before you can set your career realism setting and then make adjustments in the game play settings.

Thanks so much for the help..beenfollowing the WOS and watched the youtube tutorial last night..lots to do to enable it..but looks fairly straightforward.

It's pretty simple really, much of that video is extra stuff. Download, copy, activate a few mods, launch the patcher thingie and press Enter till the keys comes off and you're done. :)

Hi..I did what I thought was a "clean" install, downloading the game via uplay (I do have the original disc too)..and..to my suprise..when I look at the SH5 folder..all my OLD mods and JGSME (this is when there was not a mega mod but you activated them one by one)...and yet..I dont see any of the mods..just a generic game..so I need with someones help advice how to remedy this situation..so I have a TOTALLY clean version of the game..any thoughts and help appreciated..:up:

P.S. should I jsut spin up the old DVD disc of the game..and let uplay update it to gold version and all the patches?
