Hi
So (once again) I'm trying to get back into SH5, and I'm discovering the incredible work done to implement the 'Automation' scripts.
I was just wondering if someone had/could create a script to fast travel to from the dock to the patrol area. It's the part of the game I really find laborious and tedious.
Is this possible?

Honestly I think that would defeat the purpose of mods like Real Navigation, not to mention that you never know what you may encounter on the way to a patrol area.
The only workaround I see (not mod of course), would be to not use real navigation, plot your course via the waypoint tool, and ramp TC up, but ramping TC up too high may (likely) expose you to more CTDs.
I actually enjoy traveling to patrol areas, though I'd agree that it can be boring. I like the build up. ;)

This one will take you out the harbours and into open sea where you can then set for patrol area.
It also has a Kiel canal and Skagerrak option:salute:

I agree.
I use the Harbor plot just to get out of the harbor. (Have somehow crashed into the subpen wall several times leaving).
And when out to sea, I never TC more than 256 because you'll never know when you'll bump into a patrolling group of DD's. Go to fast and you'll be sunk.
