GWX 3.0 and OLC can't zoom in

My mouse wheel seems not to work while using OLC
Any help?

Hi ProrokC2. Welcome to SubSim.

I assume that when you mean zoom you are referring to the periscope view. if you are using OLC 'Gold' MkIId Gui then the zoom does not work. That's the way he made it and I believe it has something to do with his included environment mod. For that reason I have always used his other Gui OLC Gui 1.2.7. In it you can zoom the periscope view.

Also since you are new you should become familiar with SubSim's language policy which prohibits the use of asterisks to replace letters in swear words.

Does his old tutorial still up to date?
In a tutorial he can zoom in and out and he shows how to calculate range and AOB without zoom. Do i use a normal "with zoom" calculation methods now?

In that version of the mod you can't zoom the periscope view. The author, onelifecrisis made it that way. I think it is because he didn't like the way some things looked at the higher power. That is the only explanation I've heard. In his earlier Gui OLC Gui 1.2.7 there is no environment mod included so you can use the zoom. That version is available in the SubSim downloads section.
