I read a while back somewhere that RA was getting a playable yasen class ssn/ssgn. I've been searching and searching for it for a while and can't seem to find if or where it exists. Can someone here confirm whether or not there is a version in RA where we can play it, and if so which version and where I can download? If not, has anybody heard whether it's in the works?

I was suggesting it, the problems are:
- Model
- Inability to simulate all the weapons.

I would love to see an updated 3D model for the Foxtrot on the next R.A., that would be awesome on Cold War scenarios...
As for the yasen and the "Inability to simulate all the weapons" they could do something similar to what they have done with the OscarII.

Sure they could take Akula-II and cut down the Yasen's missile tubes from 32 down to, what, 8? If they get over the weapons loadout hurdle it would be pretty amazing, as then we could simulate modernised Oscar IIs with their missile spam.

I don't see how the load out is a problem. Look at the RA American attack subs and the SSBNs. They all have torpedo tubes and vls tubes, even if you couldn't have all 32 it wouldn't be that bad.
