So file .001 is meant too have an error ??? , or will this error affect in install of this mod .
There is no mention of this error in the read file`s , only that it may take up too 15 to 40 min to load up , [ life`s too short for a 40 min loading time ].

OK , always get file error on 7zip when extracting somewhere .
But when test & extract , get no error! .
0: After extracting ,
1: install fresh copy of SH3 1.4 ,
2: copy SH3_GWX3.0_REWORKED_RUS folder into SH3 folder ,
3: copy JSGME from SH3_GWX3.0_REWORKED_RUS folder to SH3 folder & run to setup MODS folder.
4: cut & paste SH3_GWX3.0_REWORKED_RUS folder into MODS folder ,
5: Run in JSGME .
6: Start SH3 as normal , [ long time to load ].

8. Start SH3 as normal
9. Quit the game
10.Play through SH3 Commander
Long time to load-the game is not for children!!!

I dont really get it , since i dont understand Russian. Can anybody explain me what this mod is about , or what is the aim of the mod? It obviously wants to "improve" GWX but what is different to GWX Gold 3.0?

The assembly is made on the basis of the "KNIGHTS OF SEA DEPTHS" - "Knights of the deep sea" v.1.1

- How to install the game?
- The best way through JSGME. To this end, it set a new SH3 v.1.4b.
The downloaded and decompressed SHIII_GWX_Reworked_Rus throws in the MODS folder and rolls.
All. In the root folder MultiSH3 run and enter the name of the folder to save (other than SH3).
There you select the required HsieOptionsSelector_V16A function.
Start the game with the patched EXE and make necessary adjustments. Exit the game.
For SH3 Commandera specify the path to SH3.exe. We set up for themselves. All. Play through SH3 Commander!!!
The MODS folder, new files. Unpack and read Documentation.

In my build after saving devices stand up for 12 o'clock. After the fix, when I checked and was sure the bug was fixed, again I faced this problem. Now took a break and I will wait for new u-boats from the Wise and the interior of Type II of WAC v. 5.0.

Okay, I know I am being a pain in the arse but is it best to merge the development of_SHIII file with the SHIII_GWX3 file by copy and paste or use JSGME? I have noticed several file changes. For instance the campaign files are different.

I also noticed that in the development of_SHIII file there are two New Zealand folders in the roster file. Should one of them perhaps be Netherlands? Also New Zealand is spelled wrong.

I will be upgrading to this Mod English version sometime in 2017. As a user of GWX 3.0 Gold I have often hoped it would be updated with great developments in mods since its final release. So I watch this thread for updates, and thank you anvar for your work!

what happened to wilhelmshaven, the port is half way on the land. Plus no features like the harbor gates and stuff. In kiel three turret bunker mounts are in the air. Is this a glitch or what. In kiel do not even start in docking area, im outside it. Maybe i installed wrong?

No, you didn't install it wrong. I have the same problem. I haven't tested any of the other ports yet but Wilhelmshaven is all screwed up.

Wilhelmshaven and Kiel are not right. I am not sure if its a case of the harbor traffic being in the wrong place or the harbor locations themselves.

Well Anvar upon further investigation I have it narrowed down to the location cfg in the terrain file. The one in your update dated 20170531 is the culprit. I replaced it with the one from your update dated 20170430 and Wilhelmshaven is back in the right place. Hopefully that helps you. I have all your updates installed except for the one labeled Poul_Campaign_U-Boot_HAHD (Rus). I am not that interested in the campaign modifications in that update.

What language do you prefer in the settings? You can copy the data/Sound/English folder from your GWX.

deutsche, i tested sh3 without gwx installed example sh3 w/1.4b and still no command sounds. everything else fine. all my drivers are updated and i re-installed sh3 3 times and still nothing. a few days ago when i wrote to you about torpedo rooms all was well.

i get no voice command sounds in stock sh3. So, which file or files controls that sound?. all other sounds are ok. Even in Gwx rus i get all sounds no problems

ok problem solved for now. Its a file that's corrupted when i patched the stock sh3 to 1.4b. Installed GWX 3 and still no voices, until i copy/paste all DLL files from anvarts russian version. Now it works. So still i do not know which file it is which controls voices. Anyway thanks all for ur help

i agree. i like the work you have done and saves me alot of mod inserts. although if u can put in the harbors with the gates and other eye candy that would be a bonus. BTW do you know which dll file controls the voices in my head, i mean the game?lol...since i spent many hours resolving the issue?

You can moor at any port, but the re-equipment will only be where it is provided inofficial Patch v1.6.

I am not knocking your work my friend. I think you have done a great job melding and merging so many different mods together. I can't do it that is for sure. But it does crash a lot but I think it is more of a RAM issue than any thing.

What I've done? I took from this campaigning RND.mis and SCR.mis. Inside, a simple notepad changed the umlaut "ь" to "u". I changed the M36B type to 8 ;; 100 and put it in the data / Campaigns / Campaign. The career load took 22 minutes. The report is finished.

A preset SH3 is not required. In the root folder, start MultiSH3 and enter the name of the folder to save (different from SH3, in this case GWX). In the same place, we select the necessary functions HsieOptionsSelector_V16C. Run the game from the patched executable sh3.exe and make the necessary game settings. We leave the game. For SH3 Commander, specify the path to the sh3.exe folder (SHIII_GWX_Reworked_Rus_2018) and configure it for you. All. We play through SH3 Commander! There are archives in the MODS folder. This is really a great supermod!
I have installed everything, and tested it on a patrol around Kiel.

And it works really well. No CtD.
All the additional mods to GWX are working well (USAM, MEP, Manos Scopes, FM Interior SH4 effects, etc...)

But I have a question though. I have 500+ unit models in the SEA directory.
And the loading time is 10mn. It's way too much for me.
Is there a way to reduce those loading times? Is the addon "SEA+" really necessary to play the campaign?

You have a great result! You have the right to establish your favorite mods, but it is always at your own risk. The Sea + folder is not required for installation. And yet you will have 300 ships.

The main reason for the dislike for this game is a very long boot time and frequent CTDs due to a lack of RAM. I will be grateful for the constructive suggestions.

For ARB in English, i just activated in Jsgme the Reworked Rus English Font that Anvar provided the link (in his media fire page)

But in fact i’m More in trouble that i first thought :timeout:
I tried only the Naval school mission to test it, and it was working good...then i started a new career and it always CTD before the bunker.

Then, i tried to install an English Commander version in place of the Russian one. It worked ok but unable to start a career too.

So, i’m Stuck for the moment :hmmm:

This is a six-part self-extracting archive. Thus, you have extracted all the necessary files. do not install on a disk with the operating system! This is already justified by someone.

I am having CTD's problems with this mod. I have to be making a simple mistake somewhere. :hmmm:



I am assuming the following are required files:

1. MEDITERRANEAN SEA (RU) NEW

2. Black Sea (Ru)

3. Red Baltic is 1941 year (RU)

4. 10th Flotilla. In France until the End (RU)

Since these files overwrite one another when installed is there a correct order of installing them?

Furthermore the one with (Rus) may be only in Russian...

You should be able to play only the parts installed.
Except of course if you want the translation so the English font fix is required, and a wide screen mod.

I still can’t launch any career, except the naval academy.
All is installed in my C drive outside program files or program, even without the ARB wide screen mod it is CTD...launching with or without Commander.

With it I fixed LND, RND, SCR campaigns files. Fixed some cfg unit files. Chose the minimum set in the folders Air, Land, Roster, Sea, Submarine. But now I have a problem with CTD, probably due to the lack of carrier-based aircraft. I need to work manually with the ships ' cfg files and figure out the AirGroup.

So, I put together a Lite version. Folder: Air, Campaigns, Land, Roster, Sea, Submarine to be completely replaced. But when running at 85% I get CTD. If you activate via JSGME Air+, even the Museum is loaded. So the problem is the lack of a plane (or several). But what?

If you use JSGME you do not need all identical files provide in your download. The DL get smaller then. Yes, you have much more headache by integrate some files of zero-lenght "Name-remove"-files. And this "-remove" thing does not work with complete drawers.

Your Lite-Replacement on the other hand, is much much faster installed by "Drawer-Rename". Do not replace an SH3-install. This will be broken then, you need to have a Backup first this way. But instead rename the "old" drawers to something like *BAK and then position the "new" drawers at there old positions.

As an example to use this more comfortable:
(But please, only when words like DOS, Dos-Promt, Commandline and cmd are injected into your blood. If you never heard about this, this is not for you.)
Change SH3Path first!
and copy into the Main-drawer where Air, Campaigns, Land... exists.

Not trying to be cruel but it's pretty simple to look at one Unit to create another totally different Unit.
Just the Spitfire looks as if someone intentionally shot themselves in the foot!

Look at the numbers before the ;

I would change from

Or the gun exist and have different IDs. Anyway some mismatch.



I'd suggest a scan of all dat files for redundant tga files.I think that in any big File-collection there are things that should be made different. Even in my unmodified SH3-install are such things integrated.

The first thing i seach for in TGAs are unwanted comments. They blow up the file-sizes in total amount.

Search by 'or' (not 'and'):
Shop Pro,Autodesk,3ds max,ImageGear,Accusoft,Adobe,Photoshop,Graphics Processor

In this collection 226 files can be found.

make a Backup first!

delete all xxxx.tga
goto Node AFB_SpitfireXXII
goto "Linked 3D model"
Remove all "Material Id" without "Name"
click "Model preview"
zoom in near to the textureless guns and click them
Node - AFB_SpitfireXXII_guns3D
Remove Material Id without Name
click "Add"
Add > 0x... SpitMk22.tga

Save as... (not overwrite, if you have No Backup!)
or
Save (if you have Backup)

and check inGame.
The problem with use of S3D is that the 3D-Viewer may show you things, that does not work in SH3-inGame.

I collected probably the largest collection of GWX aircraft 165 units (a feature in the application of identification marks). It would be good to use all of them in the Global AIR Mod. To this end they shall organize by country and position on the respective airfields (LAB_LargeAirBaseGe for example) to historical accuracy. Separately will have to collect data for inclusion in Campaign_LND.mis.

In a folder "Stream_BlueWater" there is an alternative assemblage of generators with original colour of textures (blue). It is not recommended to use with green colour of water. In the rest, on your taste. To activate over a patch and before connection of alternative subturms and skins. If there is a necessity of merge to the mod "U.-W&S_VII_Series" first to make merge of a patch "Set_VII_Patch201812" with "U.-W&S_VII_Series" and then alternative drains "Stream_BlueWater".
