View Full Version : Tutorial for Wolves of Steel
As a long time SH3/GWX player I still think it's the best subsim ever made, but wanna give a next try for SH5, especially when I saw mega mods for it. I've installed stock SH5 and mega mod Wolves of Steel. And here is the problem - there is no tutorial for it, similar to GWX tutorial (IMHO one of the best tutorials for any sim).
Is there any info, readme or manual how to play it, engage targets or enable and use mods included in it (for instance Church's Compass Dials Mod - I don't see it in the game) in WoS?
Last but not least - how to force crew to going down when I wanna dive the boat? Clicking buttons on the left shows info that there are people on the bridge.

Just climb down the ladder and the crew will follow .
Playing SH3/GWX from many years makes the simplest things in SH5 rather unknown for the first time :)
Thanks!
And what about tutorial for WoS? Do you know something to read or watch?

Hi jaxa
Watch Shaefers YouTube videos 13 to date.
Shaefer uses TWOS so you will see how things work.
If you are looking for really basic stuff there is plenty of SH5 on YouTube
and I know from experience you will learn a lot from them.

Thanks guys.
I've just found myself how to use Church's Dials mod.
Have to watch video tutorial about using TDC in WoS. I used to use rounds in periscope view in GWX for targeting - there is no something similar in WoS unfortunately - or may I'm wrong.

On the main screen where you load a save there are tutorials . You can use them while on a campaign patrol afaik . access them from the automation panel while playing the game .
Thanks for advice, sober :salute:
