Has anyone considered a mod for FreeTrack?

This is head-tracking software that lets a webcam track your head movement. I built my own IR headset for a few bucks. I use this in flight sims - you move your head slightly and this corresponds to looking around the cockpit. The effect is quite convincing.

In SH5 with the immersive environment I suspect this could work well there also.

it's not compatible with SH5 .... all head tracking devices are made for Flight sim. car sim.
in SH5 u move the whole body not only your head and also will be almost unplayable cos will generate Huge FPS LAG.

I don't follow what you are saying.

In either sim, you are really just panning a camera.

Since the software just takes what would otherwise be normal keyboard/joystick/mouse inputs and takes them from the webcam, I don't think there should be any lag issues.

SH5 is really CPU heave with or without mods and the tracking software
transforms your display into a portal to a virtual environment.( FPS LOST ) I have spend more then 3 months to make compatible with SH5 and didn't manage it. i also was exited about freetrack in SH5
