Just a quick sanity check...! :hmm2:
After installing sober's mega mod I don't have a 'load game' option on the main menu. It's visible if I uninstall all the mods. Screenshots below.
After a bit of head scratching and internet/subsim research I'm none the wiser. Hopefully one of you salty dogs might be able to spot the problem and advise a (firing) solution.
Here's all the relevant info I can think of:
W7/3570k/GTX 670 w/latest drivers/2560x1440 res
Fresh install from DVD
Ran game, automatically patched up to 1.2 via Uplay
Ran patcher 1.0.168 using sober's .gps
Uplay switched to offline mode / don't sync savegames
Completed tutorial as per instructions on sober's thread
Installed mods using JSGME / sobers 1600 24092014.mep
Ran TDW's JSGME Mod Validator, no issues
Followed the 'how to start a campaign' steps, all okay
Saved and then quit to main menu to test at several points (in bunker, start of mission, at sea)
Still no 'load game' on main menu
'Continue campaign' does seem to work and loads most recent save
When I go to load a save game in vanilla I can see the new save game files as well as an old save from before the previous uninstall, which was done via control panel and followed up with a registry clean, manual deletion of the remaining contents of the SH5 folder (seemed to be JSGME-related) and a restart. The SH5 docs folder was deleted during the uninstall.
Any and all help is much appreciated! :salute:
