Question about OLC GUI and ACM Reload

I am using the OLC gold plus ACM Reload for GWX3.
Is there a possibility to change/remove the color filter of the periscope?

Find two graphic files: data\Menu\Lenses\obs_filter.tga and per_filter.tga, with graphic editor program make this files completely transparent, or change their colors if you want.

Or, with text editor search for this files in menu_1024_768.ini file and comment with ; the path to the files. Look last post in this thread for example - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=215728

Two weeks ago i have started modding sh3. Now it is time to learn more about the mechanics behind it. Like Tycho said the more knowledge you have the more can you "fix" for your own wishes ;)

would be nice to adapt some mods to my desire :)
