Rescue downed fliers

Hey guys, out on patrol, my orders are to rescue 4 downed fliers, but when I approach the shore I see no one in the water nor on shore..any help would he great.thanks

Look for orange smoke in the water. That's where they are. Sometimes they drift a long ways from where they are supposed to be.

Once you get close to them slow right down, lock them in the binos and click the rescue button.

I went looking and a LONG LONG way away I seen the pink smoke, but it disappeared and never found it again, I guess that means they are gone?

Ok, well it said to pick up 4, I picked up 8 all together and it still said incomplete..

Is that the mission near the Solomons? If so, think that one is glitched in RSRD in that it doesn't give you credit....go sink some ships

This was in the Makassar Strait and Celebes Sea..but yeah I sank some ships and returned to base..thanks for the info fellas:up:
