Help please.

I have downloaded a fresh copy of silent hunter 3 of steam patched to 1.4b. I have the GWX 3.0 files saved in a folder on my desktop, but when I go to install it is failing due to it saying I have modded files in the game. Which is a bit strange because I have only now down loaded it from steam. any ideas any one.:/\\!!

Sigh. :nope:

The GWX installer will pop that error message if NOT pointed to a proper SH3 install.
It does not care if it's Steam, patched, or a non-Starforce version.
Point it at an empty folder and you get that message!

A new installer that will fix the issues is being done right now.
The new installer will also include an uninstall option.
No more complete reinstall of SH3 should be needed then.
