I just set the screen res using the modified dll's
I remember ages back I had a UI mod with a moved fire button. I cant remember for the lift of me which UI i used now..

Can anyone recommend a good UI for use with 1920x1080?

AFAIK, the only mod for SH3 specifically intended for use at 1920x1080 is Van1920x1080. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=213527. The other widescreen mods, Conus SH3GWXWS 2.3, Widescreen MaGui v3.4, and WideScreen_complete (by Rubini) are built for 1060x768 and only give what I consider satisfactory results at that resolution. YMMV.
