Need Help Installing Mods?

I just bought the Steam version of Silent Hunter 5 during the Summer Sale and I would like to mod it to be more like SH4 (Mostly UI). I tried reading the various mod guides for beginners but its been 4 years since they were made and a lot of the guiding pictures on the posts are now no longer viewable for whatever reason. I installed the JSGME application into my mod folder but I can't figure out how to actually enable these mods. You would be surprised how many tutorials I have watched where people go so fast through it that my head starts to spin. I just want the game to be good like SH4. Also, is there a way to make it so I don't have to click my mouse to look around on the bridge? Ubisoft really did a horrible job of polishing this game.

Game version is 1.2 btw.

I don't think that you can use mods if you have a Steam version of SH5...

In the forums here go under "User CP", then under "Edit Options". In "Edit Options" you will see "Default Thread Age Cut Off:" change this to show all threads.

I don't think that you can use mods if you have a Steam version of SH5...

You can use most, if not all the mods with the steam version, but not the TDW Generic Patcher.
