sobers OH2.5 Kiel Lite mod V4 SH5
Removed the Kiel traffic to increase FPS (suggestion on how to implement the mod by Trevally who is the author of OH2 mod) .
This mod is not part of OH2 and is not an authorised mod by Trevally .
Acknowledge sober if using in any other mod .
You must start a new campaign .

Not a gigantic improvement but everything is better then nothing... Why not this mod to be for all Kiel starting campaigns? Currently it's only for "Total Germany"...

What do you mean? I can see that Kiel is still full of imported ships...:hmmm:

Happy Times, Western Approaches and Mare Nostrum...Are you using the mod from the link ? Don't use the previous version . Did you start a new campaign ?

Now version 2 includes Happy Times, Western Approaches and Mare Nostrum .

Ouch...I've tested this method in MN camp. and there is not a single ship in port?!:06: Could this be too radical solution? Could we have something like 50% reduced traffic or similar, pretty much like with your removed Z ships mod?

Its not too radical if you have a computer that barely plays the OH2 campaign . With silent hunter 4 you had the option to start outside the harbor . Its the same thing . A redesigned port layer would be the best though . Why don't you have a go at it ?

Because I'm having a hard time to create single goddamn test mission, not to mention editing OHII campaign layers...:D I'm really a total noob for SH5 mission editor

I have no idea how to make a single mission either . The mission editor is fun though . You would have a blast . I know you are clever enough , i use R.S.D. - Reworked Submarine Damage v5.7 by vdr1981_Main mod.

Try version 4 , it is completely different than version 1 or 2 . Hopefuuly I havnt broken anything in OH2.5

Question Sob... Memel port is almost completely empty and only two small fishing boats are there. Was that your intention ?
P.S.
I'm actually able to start campaign in Kiel with enabled TDW sub flags mod for type VIIC...You're on good trail!:up:

I just did baltic operations with flags, worked fine
Tried to leave kiel for breaking the fortress, ctd
Removed flags, all ok so far .........................................
Also, if either of you use the Equipment Ugrades, have you noticed the dates don't tally on the subflag (cfg i think offhand without going in n looking) compared to equip uprades (could this be causing random crashes ? )
Anyways, wtg sober :up: hopefully as vdr said, you're onto something for sure

If your mod lists as so hard on the game - perhaps try dropping a mod or two
