New installation problem with update

I have installed SH3 onto a new computer but I am unable to update to 1.4b as it keeps on telling me "Mission Engine dll. unknown version"

I installed from DVD and am using the correct update.

Any Ideas

If the game is already patched to 1.4b, then you can get that error.

Relfin is correct. How recent is your disc. If it's 2008 or newer then it is already patched to 1.4b.

Thanks for the replies. Its probably 3 years since I last played.

I have reinstalled and installed GX3 and everything appears to be working.

So I assume it must have already been updated.
