Hi guys, please spend 2 minutes, sometimes sh5 crashes to desktop without giving me any error, it just closes .... this is my list of mods, which I should eliminate?

Ndb Ndh is included in the Steel Viking patch.
External Cargo known to cause ctd's.
I do not think you need the Starshell patch I do not see others using it including Sober
Fuel Gauge already in Steel Viking mod.

Everything looks fine, although you could remove SH5_Starshells_patch and NDB,NDH OM#1 - No Dialog Indicator. They are not needed any more.

Random CTD's are nothing unusual for large modlist like your but with few smart game save/reloads, you can reduce them to minimum...

Vdr is quite correct regarding large mod lists causing ctd's.
However if you go about it in the right way this should not be a problem.
I would always recommend looking at established lists that come from Sober, Fifi and Sjizzle.
These guys always have a basis that you can work from and you know they are in the correct order.
A large number of mods are universal which everybody uses as they have become essential.
Yes I would suggest you remove those mods as they serve no purpose and duplicating may also cause issues as well.

Damn i wish i had your eyesight the berbster, shows how i need to wear glasses more often, i think i'll wear them while i use jsgme hehe

It's fully working, open horizons 2.5 based career, did the baltic operations for about the 52nd time lmao working fine

Trust me you would not want my eyesight.
Stormy's mods you have enabled do not like OHII and NewUi
If you get ctd's these will be the cause.
This is a pity as they offer a better keybord layout.
You need this
NewUIs_TDC_7_5_0_ByTheDarkWraith test version 17

7_5_0 is still a test version and is constantly being updated as the problems are sorted out that is why I prefer to use 7_4_2 which is established.

It's not there while i'm testing ;) (did explain way up postings, the re i use as my old 4890's are soon to be replaced, re gives me a few fps more ;) )

Some good advice vdr.
There is some real odd ball stuff in that mod soup.
I agree with you Dyn Env is better than Real Env but Defiance says he is getting better fps with R.E. over D.E. that why he is using it.
I have seen this on the ‘Forum’ before where R.E. is preferred to D.E.

Don't get me wrong i like dynenv
Until i get the new gpu i'd rather have max fps
And no native xfire in sh5 either doesn't help

I can upload it for you of you cant find it...the mod is still neeaded because it brings changes to AI submarines...Should be enabled before Real U-Boat performance.

vdr would using the DynEnv v2.9 - 1. Main Mod with the DynEnv v2.9 - 2. Main Mod Low Resolution Patch as Sober uses in his mod list be a better option?

The smaller flags for Warships 1_0b mod overwrites the one from OH2.5 and you don't get the new countries flags added by OH2.5 . They are just vanilla flags .

Included in Steel Vikings Patch.
You do not need to take on the 2 warships.
When your watch crew spot them this completes the first part of the task.
Your orders are to go to Danzig Bay where you will find some rich pickings.
There are 2 don't forget , so look out for repercussions if you decide to take them on.

Hiya's,
The weird thing was, well not weird just a mod conflict, was i got a darn halo on the uzo/men etc, again, that's sorted now (i hope)
It was my own doing, with a mod here n there removed or install sequence changed thus far everything's hunk dory
As for the destroyers, i got sidetracked by one of the dogs, i went to get him in and hey presto i hadn't paused the sim and i had to crashdive, ended up having a good old scrap with the destroyers, sunk one and then i had to emergency surface, the airforce had attacked the other and it was ablaze and sinking luckily for me
I must say i took heaps of damage, really enjoyed being mauled and watching all parts of the sub get damaged, but i overcame, and ended up sinking ships in the bay to get secondary part filled
Even getting back to kiel a lot of damage was still left :)
Gotta love the ai now :yeah:
I can now if want, tc any speed into a base with no ctd etc (as i could from almost day 1 of release, that used to be my benchmark for stability lol)
I lost gigs of mods i had, not only from sh5 but 4 and 3, i will keep getting them back or their updated versions
Just glad i'm getting realism/stability back

And a message to my braincell, after messing with patcher (backup/restore etc etc) go back into Menu (in data folder in ubi folder) and re-add any lines required by certain mods, as they will have reverted back to vanilla :oops:

doing it should give you back the extra FPS that Defiance was looking for by replacing DynEnv with RE :up:
